Study on the Reduction of Electric Energy Consumption in the Process of Preserving Agri-Food Products

The authors present a study on the reduction of electric energy consumption in process preserving agri-food products. Refrigeration facilities used to cool various easily perishable products were examined order establish solutions for increasing efficiency storage process. proposed solution provides combination refrigeration installation with step cooling, infl ow cooler fan installed outside environment, which during cold period year supplies artificial cold. experimental results have shown that this system allows approximately 27% consumed annually by existing installations.
